About Me

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Vacation to Idaho!

We went to Idaho last week for a yearly visit and my 10 year high school reunion. On the way down, we took the flu with us! We were unable to go hike in the Sawtooth Mountains and we shared the flu with some family, but we recovered and were able to spend some time with family. Emmaline had her second birthday while we were there and had a fun party with family. We also went gold panning in the mountains with Jeremy's parents... the kids loved the river and spending time with all of their grandparents. My reunion was fun, it was good to see old friends- although I was sad that not many people showed up. Out of our class of almost 500, there were oh - about 50 of us... So here are some pictures of our adventures!

All recovering... I don't think there is any more room on that lap of mine!

Haydn loved playing with the dress-up clothes at Papa and Nana's

An exciting morning at Nana's!

All of the cousins were excited to see what Emmaline was going to get...

We bought a helium tank for the party and Weldon was in Heaven!!

My last minute Dora cake... the kids inhaled it!

A little frosting and Emmaline couldn't let it stay there!

Grandpa, Grandma and Jeremy looking for some gold to make us rich...

This is about all we got!
