April brought us lots of rain and warm weather... perfect for grass and gardens and wild asparagus! We spent a couple hours with our friends hunting for wild asparagus. April also brought us Haydn's 5th birthday... She is so excited that she can now tell people she is 5!
April was the month that Jeremy and my dreams of becoming cattle ranchers began to take shape! I was approved for a unique cattle loan through the USDA as a woman, to buy cattle and set up our acreage for a backgrounding operation... We will buy small cows, feed them and then sell them! A lot of work is ahead of us, but we can now say we are officially ranchers!
Here are some pictures of our latest adventures!!The first find of the afternoon...Haydn's fun birthday presents! Our beautiful green pasture that needs to make some horse very fat! Our property ends at the trees in the back, the cows will be in that back acreage. I will post a picture of the "After" status with the fencing and cows when they get here!

congrats! You are making your dreams come true!
Hadyn is beautiful and so grown up. Time is flying by too fast, but I guess we will probably see you soon. We have a wedding coming up!! :)
While I was looking at your blog the kids said that they miss you guys!
Let me know if you need a 'pardner' with your business promotion. We'll trade for "guest ranch" stays :)
